Uruguay Expands Student Healthcare Through Salud al Aula

On 6 November, Uruguay’s Education Ministry, Public Health Ministry and State Health Services Administration presented the Salud al Aula initiative at the CECAP centre in Montevideo. The programme aims to expand eye-care, dental and mental-health services for students nationwide during 2027. No programme budget or procurement value was disclosed. The initiative creates opportunities for diagnostic providers, medical suppliers and healthcare partners. HPC can support healthcare planning, procurement research and technology assessments.
